Software Developer

This is your opportunity to work on the leading edge of software development for Ajax and Web 2.0 technologies. In this position you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for developing core application technologies that are fundamentally changing the way large enterprises interact with their customers and employees.

Abilities and Skills – The successful candidate must:

• Possess technical proficiency and have 2+ years experience with J2EE technologies:
  • JSF, JSP, Facelets, Servlets, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • EJB, Hibernate, JDBC, Spring
  • Eclipse, Netbeans, Java Studio Creator, IBM Rational Developer
• Be highly proficient at multitasking, tracking and organization;
• Possess excellent problem solving skills;
• Be able to work independently or in a large team and possess strong written/oral skills.

Consulting Support Specialists

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in technology the world is buzzing about – AJAX and rich web application development! Reporting directly to the VP Sales and Support, this position provides consulting style technical support to prospects and customers. The candidate must possess excellent technical and communication skills. The position requires close liaison between engineering and sales and will require occasional travel to customer sites world-wide to provide onsite training and support.

Abilities and Skills – The successful candidate must:

• Be capable of coming up to speed on a complex J2EE product;
• possess technical proficiency in the following:
  • Java Development
  • J2EE web-based development (Servlets, JSP, JSF)
  • Working with multiple J2EE application servers (Apache, JBoss, IBM, Oracle, BEA, Sun)
  • Web design technologies (HTML, CSS)
  • Experience with various IDEs including Eclipse and Sun Studio Creator
• Be highly proficient at multitasking, tracking and organization.

Sr. System Administrator

This is your chance to fully leverage your diverse skills and experience supporting a rapidly growing open source software technology company. Conquer the challenge of managing a diverse set of technologies and platforms in dynamic, high-growth environment. Work with a team that’s on the leading edge of global software development.

Abilities and Skills – The successful candidate must:

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree, technical diploma, or equivalent working experience in a technical field with 5+ years experience working in a mixed Operating System environment including at least one Linux variant (Red Hat, SUSE, Debian), one UNIX variant (Solaris, HP-UX, AIX) and one Windows variant (Server 2000, Server 2003). Mac OS/X experience is an asset.
• Have a minimum of 2 years experience with database application (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) installation and basic maintenance.
• Possess intermediate to advanced UNIX (Bash/Perl/Ant) and Windows (Batch/Perl/WMI) scripting abilities; must be familiar with script development best practices.
• Be capable of planning IT strategy for ICEsoft’s rapidly growing software development, sales, and support organizations, including a growing number of remotely located resources with up to 100 servers in mix of local, co-located and hosted environments.
• Be prepared to plan and execute recurring system maintenance tasks, including the application of operating system patches, conducting system security audits, regular system backups, etc.

Application Developers

In this position you will be using the newest and most comprehensive rich web technologies in the industry to deliver ground breaking applications for ICEsoft and our customers. This role focuses on delivering rich and engaging application interfaces. Be prepared for lots of prototyping and direct customer exposure.

Abilities and Skills – The successful candidate must:

• Possess technical proficiency and have 2+ years experience J2EE technology including:
  • Application development and graphical user interface design
  • JSF, JSP, Facelets, Servlets, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • EJB, Hibernate, JDBC, Spring
  • Eclipse, Netbeans, Java Studio Creator, IBM Rational Developer
• Be highly proficient at multitasking, tracking and organization;
• Possess excellent problem solving skills;
