Chapter 3 Architecture
The ICEbrowser architecture is modular, flexible, and versatile. The ICEbrowser core, pilots, and scripters provide the basis for advanced HTML rendering and Web browsing, and a foundation for custom applications.
The architecture is based on a content visualization framework that is not limited to displaying HTML documents. It can be extended, even at run-time, to render various data types and to support different scripting modules.
The optional ICEssl module provides support for transactions that require additional security in Java. For more information, see ICEssl Module.
