Protocol Handlers
The ICEbrowser SDK includes ICEhttp, ICEsoft's proprietary Java protocol handler implementations for the HTTP and HTTPS (optional) protocols. These protocol handlers provide robust protocol implementations to work with Web servers and content found on the World Wide Web.
The HTTP protocol handler implements the HTTP/1.0 and HTTP/1.1 protocols. When combined with the optional ICEssl module, it extends support to HTTPS. The optional ICEssl module supports secure networking over the Internet with both the SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0 protocols.
In addition, support for NTLM authentication can be provided via the optional ICEhttp NTLM module.
