Ensuring Maximum Cachability

Appropriate use of caching helps when many resources are required on a page. Staged web applications are especially suited to caching, where large portions of the content won't change for the life of a product release. To ensure maximum cachability:

• Make the HTTP "cache-control" related headers are as permissive as possible, avoiding the use of "no-cache" and "must-revalidate".
• Organize your content with caching in mind, such as moving in-line CSS and JavaScript to external files.
