JMF Pilot

The Java Media Framework (JMF) is an API for incorporating media data such as audio and video into Java applications and applets.

The JMF pilot provides the framework and player applications in which raw codecs are ported. This allows the JMF pilot to be used anywhere a traditional plugin can be used. JMF includes a range of both Java and C codecs. Therefore, a range of codecs is instantly available on any platform to which Java and JMF is ported.

To use the JMF pilot, you must obtain the JMF 2.1.1 library from Sun. For more information, see http://java.sun.com/products/java-media/jmf/.

No system properties are specific to the JMF pilot, and it does not support printing. For information on keyboard shortcuts, see the Sun JMF library documentation.
