Supporting NTLM

NTLM stands for Windows NT LAN Manager, which is the Windows NT challenge/response authentication protocol. This protocol is used on networks that have systems running Windows NT 4.0 and earlier.

You can add NTLM support to ICEsoft's HTTP protocol handler (ICEhttp 1.6.0+) by using the optional ICEhttp NTLM module. This module provides cross-platform support of NTLM authentication to Microsoft proxy and Web servers.

Note: This section is applicable only if you have licensed the NTLM module.
