Building and Deploying a Direct-to-DOM Enabled Version of the MyFaces tabbedPane Sample

When comparing Figure 1-2 to Figure 1-3 below, you will notice that the Direct-to-DOM enabled renderer version does not have a common submit button. This command button is not required with ICEfaces as the form submit mechanism is automatically triggered by the built-in ICEfaces javascript event handlers.

For convenience, a deployable project with required source code of the Direct-to-DOM enabled Renderer version of the MyFaces tabbedPane simple example has been included with this tutorial.

Ensure that you build environment is configured as described in Setting up your Build Environment .

To interact with the application, point your web browser at the following URL making adjustments for your environment as required. For example, port 8080 is the default port that Tomcat uses, but if you have changed this in your installation, alter the following URL accordingly.
http://localhost:8080/tabbedpane-icefaces/
